This form is designed to gather information from home owners who have noticed significant cracking to their homes. As the Dept. of the Environment has stated that “no firm evidence is available to confirm the nature and scale of the problem”, the purpose of this form is to try to establish the number of home owners affected and the extent of the problem in each area in order to try to seek a redress scheme from the government to help home owners fix their homes. We will also use the contact details provided to keep homeowners informed on any progress we may make and any events you may wish to be involved in. We would like to assure assure you that any personal information provided by you will be anonymised before we share the findings of this research with anyone outside of the MICA Action Group as we appreciate the sensitivity of this issue to all concerned.
